I'm in the process of resurrecting an old bike, and I have 3 greases at my disposal:
Red Line CV-2
Regular MOS2+graphite grease supplied with CV joint boot kits I kept around in a jar
Tri-Flow grease

I'm leaning towards the RL. Is that a good choice, or do I need a more durable grease in the wheel hubs and headset?

Actually, Bull Shot red grease (found in better bike shops) is perfect for this application.
But if you had to use one of the ones on hand, yes, the RL CV-2 is also what I would choose.
