recommended oil for 565 BBC on alcohol?

Amsoil 60 wt racing oil.


They also have a Dominator 15w-50 wt that shows a wear chart comparing to other oils. Although I don't think the Dominator 15w-50 is what you want.

Kendell is about the best u can get.. i've run anything from 20/50 50 60 and 70 weight in our arias hemi blown mod.. works about as best as u can get actually. The only other oil i've ever seen any really good results are is pennzoil racing oil. Some ppl swear by rotella t 15w40 tho at some local tracks

I use #110 Schaeffer's 40W and 30W oil in my dragrace 15:1 1000hp 565 with a terminator and meth fuel. A good value race oil.

20W-50 I'd bet is to thick.

Not necessarily. If the oil is formulated with thick base oils (as most are), it shouldn't matter what type of base oil is used.

I suggested a Blend since that is most cost effective for most racers.

If I had a lot of money invested in an expensive engine that used methanol, I would use something similar to this:
