My First Post!!!

What type of grease is used in the rotor bearings on the Eaton "roots" supercharger rotor bearing in the back of the case. This would be on a m112 supercharger. I spoke with a rebuilder and told me to just add some fresh grease if the bearings were good and that the bearing rarely fail. They want 15.00 + 6.25 shipping for a tsp of grease.

welcome!...

Schaeffer's #221 Moly Ultra or NYE Rheotemp 500 are what you are looking for

Maybe this is that NEO Formula 1 CV joint grease (HP CC-1) that is like $75.00 for a one pound container, and is supposedly good for >1000*F with no dropout/meltdown??

They want $9.99 and $13.00 shipping.

Do I sound cheap or what!?!?! I was hoping someone would say use M1 or Schaeffers this or that. (I'm a Schaeffers fan) Not sure about the 221, I'm hoping Salesrep will chime in.
