Hi,

Just wondering what anybody's opinion on this grease is. Has anybody ever used it? Will be used as a general chassis lube, i.e. u joints, ball joints, trailer bearings.. not disc brake wheel bearings though.

thanks

A garage I worked in a good many years ago used it. It seemed to work fine as a general chassis grease and never gave us problems. Since opening my own shop I use TRC's 880 Crown and Chassis grease.

Thanks Wrehch,

If it is okay for a general purpose lube, i'll give it a shot.. Since the local store has them and i can try out a few. Although the TRC880 sounds good.

I've read that pryoplex is what mercruiser boat engines relabled for use on the marine engines coupler spline. Merc then recommends a different spec grease for the ujoints and gimble bearing.

I'm in the search for the one good do it all grease....
