It's a 2.5 L with 140,000 Kilometers on it.Climate here in the Philippines is quite warm.

How often are you looking to change your oil? What is your current maintenance schedule? Having said that, it's best to stick with a 40 weight oil for 4D56 and 4D40 engines - basically 0/5/10/15W-40.
What brands are available to you in Manila - Mobil Delvac, Shell Rotella, Caltex Delo, Castrol GTX Diesel? Any of these available?
If you're willing to go synthetic, Mobil 1 0W-40 would be an excellent choice if it's not too expensive.

I always ran mine on Fuchs Ultra MC 15/40,although now I'm using the last of my 20 litre Gulf Western Top Dog 15/40....5,000km oil changes.I now work at a Mitsi dealer and we run them on Fuchs Ultralube 15/40,and do 10,000km oil changes (customers don't want 5,000km oil changes as recommended by Mitsi)
