This is my first ford. I have always used Havoline in all my other vehicles (GM & MOPAR). Should I stick with the havoline or switch to motorcraft? thanks for any info.

Both are quality oils that will protect your vehicle. Use whichever is easiest to get and cheaper. If they're both about the same, than try both and see which one your vehicle likes better.

Motorcraft 5W-20 Full Synthetic. Possibly Pennzoil Ultra 5W-20 as well, if not Platinum?

Havoline aint Texaco anymore, It's Chevron. Why not put the Ford spec oil (motorcraft) into the Ford? That would keep ole Henry happy. Other than that my buddy, a longtime ford guy uses Valvoline Conventional and all his engines go past 250K. But oil is changing every couple years so it aint the same stuff it was just yesterday.

Any conventional will do with a reasonable oci. If you like Havoline, stick with it. It's a great conventional oil!
