How often to re-grease wheel bearings?

I would. Typically I do them when I do front brakes on a RWD vehicle. In 'MY' driving conditions that works out to about every 30,000-35,000 miles. IMO 64K is a lot of miles to have driven w/o repacking wheel bearings. 50,000 miles would have been my limit. What kind of vehicle is it? Did you check a shop manual or the OM for the mfgs recommendation?

I checked my OM and it doesn't say anything about wheel bearing grease. I guess I'll just repack them with a good synthetic grease when the weather improves a little. I did that to my 1984 Subaru once.

I may look into getting a good shop manual for my car (a 2003 Nissan Sentra).

Your rear wheel bearings are non-serviceable hub units.
Your front wheel bearings are cartridge-type. I'm pretty sure those aren't serviceable either.

Now knowing what exactly you're driving that changes everything. No service, no worries.

Oh OK. Thanks for the info.

My car should now be in close to perfect operating condition.
