FWIW, to be more specific it would be GM's 3.6L V-6 Direct Injection engine.
 
Sorry, I don't recall what the number was. But I know it was for the extended drain oil and cost somewhere around $10.
 
The oil looks good. But if after 8380 miles the OLM is 15% on a good oil like PP, it makes you wonder what a run of the mill dino oil would look like. That OLM really seems to wring every possible mile out of OCI.

Yeah that was my point but I probably worded it poorly. The OLM was predicting 15% life still left but it didn't know if it had the worst dino or one of the best synthetics. Not to mention it can't really tell if you have coolant or fuel dilution, high silcates etc. Btw, I wonder if misfire codes affect the OLM predction? PP looked good but I can't imagine that just any dino oil would've looked good at that interval.
