yale forklift

wasn't exactly sure where to post this, so i decided on here.
recently purchased a yale forklift FG25, and i didn't receive a manual with it (used). i know it has a mazda engine (with the mazda lifter tick), but any engine specs on this machine would be helpful. number stamped on block; VA-B11215, its a carburated 4 cyl, pushrod ohv. runs great other than lifter noise, looking for specs on valve lash. hour meter only 3540 hrs. in advance i tried mmo with deere plus 50 10w-30, no help, now has 15w-40 plus 50 deere. from what i understand mazda engines are world reknown for their lifter problems and i would like to find out what engine i have for future maintenence.

It would be worthwhile to call a Yale dealer a see if you can get a manual.

I haven't seen one without the lifter tick. Its factory installed

i was able to obtain the specs, and you're not the first one to tell me that they installed the tick at the factory

when they stop making the tick its time to worry.

Do a Google search on this, along with the words "operator's manual" and see if you can get a PDF download. Getting a genuine manual from the dealer (when available) can easily set you back $100 or more.
