Post your latest oil change

1995 Nissan Pathfinder, VG30 (3L V6, gasoline)

Purchased in 2000 w/ 112,000 KM and have been using Mobil 1 5W30 w/ Napa Gold (Wix) filters since the day I brought it home. I use a Napa Gold air filter too, changed when the oil is.

I change the oil twice a year, regardless of KMs (late spring, early fall). There is no visible loss of oil b/t changes on the dipstick. If I put in 4L, I get 4L out.

Today, at 249,999 KMs, I changed to Rotella T 5W40.

6.9qt Mobil 1 5w30 (recommended by BMW for this year/model, I know some people do GC or M1 0w40 but his manual also spec's 5w30 and he changes it way more often than BMW recommends anyway, I couldn't do a 15k interval either!)

Putting my gf`s Olds 88 back on M1 15W50 (car is nearing 150,000 miles). Her car really "likes" that oil over all the others I`ve tried. I`ve been using dino (10W40) in it at 3k changes. It always comes out black and water thin. Her engine really seems to pound the heck out of oil. Back when I used the M1 15W50 in it,it seemed like it held up much better than the dino,so back in it goes tomorrow morning :^)

I used it in her old worn out Probe once and it made it run like new. Must be a really tough and durable oil!
