Stopped by a Rural King for the first time, noticed they had a brand of oil filters Id never seen before. White packaging with blue writing, using the Fram numbering system. Popped open the box, and they looked like an E-core(similar to ST??)

Printed on the box was "proudly made in the USA", price was $1.99.

Any have the 411 on this brand of filters??

No, but at that price,I would risk it since it looks like an Ecore. After all, how much evidence is there that the orange can dooms engines? It has to be better.

For $1.99, cut one open, either before or after your oil change, and see how it's constructed. I'd have no problem using that oil filter.

Just got a reply from someone at Rural King.
Apparently they are manufactured by the same company that makes AC Delco, so E-core.

Im going to stock up on them next time Im at Rural King. For $1.99, its a good deal, cheaper than a Supertech!!!
