I've ran ARX treatments on the last 3 BMWs my friends have bought. They have been treated to a life full of 15k OCI and are really showing the results.

Oil is cheap. Not risking anything like 15k OCI's especially on a BMW. Plus, I enjoy doing oil changes anyways...

2001 Pontiac Montana (98,250mi)
Oil:
1 quart Mobil 1 15W50
2 quart Rotella T 10W30
1 quart German Castrol Syntec 0W30
1 quart Supertech 10W30
0.5 quart Supertech 20W50
Filter: Purolator Classic Oversize
The one week oil change. It will get drained the 17th when I pull it apart to do the head gaskets. I need it to hold together for another couple cross-state trips until then.

Did a 2-fer yesterday, the Ranger got its yearly change, 5 quarts of QS Dino, 5w30 and a Purolator filter. 17,650 miles. Original, not 117,650 on a rolled-over odometer. The funny thing is that the Ranger has the smallest engine and uses the most oil per change and the biggest filter.

Dakota got 4 quarts of M1 10w30 and a Purolator Pure One filter. And a new set of BF Goodrich Long Trail TA's too. 57,230 miles.

Towards the end of the month the Malibu will get its oil changed, and the Cobalt wants some attention -- OnStar sent me an urgent e-mail that the car hadn't had an oil change in almost a year and is due (1800 miles).

2003 Toyota Corolla- PP 10w30 w/ Supertech Filter. 31,000 miles.
