Methanol in Michigan?

Where can I purchase small quantities of methanol in Michigan? Say about 5 gallons at a time. Every place I have found only wants to sell me 55 gallon drums. I want to make my own biodiesel to use in kerosene heaters to heat my house with this winter.

If the price was right I might just buy 55 gallons myself. I never made biodiesel before so I am sure I would need extra for some practice batches.

If you are planning on keeping making biodiesel, then may as well stock up.

If it's just a muck around, you could find some zeolite and try drying ethanol.
