My shed is exposed to some times over hundred degree F in teh summer and in the winter we see a few times freezing tempretures. I have been using axel grease but it gets gummy within a couple weeks. What's the most suitabel grease? thanks!!
Good idea. I'll try this on the aluminum hinge of the screen door of my travel trailer. Can't seem to keep that one from squeaking. It is exposed to the elements and road grit.
"compatible with most other lubricants and will not run, drip, evaporate or form gummy deposits, will not melt or separate"
"Food Grade, rated H-1 by the USDA and NSF for incidental food contact. It is an excellent Dielectric and operates over a temperature range from -40° to 450° F."
I have used this stuff for years and find it to be an excellent product.
I was just browsing my latest Cabelas catalog and found *Signiture Extreme Pressure Marine Grease* which I may try out. Im ordering anyway, because I want a *Motor Mate Oil Measuring Container* for premixing fuel with additves. Its only six buckS!
