Are we using polyurea?

This is the bike forum, so keep that in mind...

Trying to determine if I should buy a tube of park tools 1000 lube.

I've seen that shear stable polyurea does, but not "standard" polyurea. That is a question for the grease forum...

Not sure what the park lube is.

The Park grease is good stuff. Phils makes some good grease too.
 
I bought some Phil Woods Grease and was very impressed. It was kind of expensive though. For general greasing i.e. headset, seatpost, pedal axle,wheel hub bearings, I like good old White Lithium. Cheap, works, and easy to find. It seems our bicycles don't really "need" extreme pressure(EP) high temp, expensive lubricants.
