Whimsey, finally someone who makes me feel better about the 19.5 mpg I got with my Ford 4.0 V6 while driving like that grandma.

Wal-Mart synthetic might work for this truck with the cold start ups in Wisconsin. Less than 12 bucks for a 5 qt. jug.

Well, after reading a lot on this site and thinking about my short cold-weather drives to work I ended up buying a case of Havoline dino 5w-30 and some Pure One filters, The oil was on sale for 15 dollars a case and the Pure One filters had a $1.50 rebate per filter. I bought both at our good ole Fleet Farm.

I'll stick with my usual 3000 mile OCI.
