Why Techron on a nearly empty fuel tank?

I have been using chevron with techron for every fillup with the exception of a few tanks here and there. Do you think using a bottle of the cleaner would do anything since I have been using their gas almost exclusively

Yes, every 5-10k miles use a bottle in addition to Chevron gas.

Probably not. As a matter of fact several years ago Chevron actually made a remark that indicated that if you regularly use Chevron with techron there's NO need to use techron concentrate.
