A father enters his daughter's bedroom and sees a letter on the bed. With
the worst premonition, he reads it, with trembling hands:

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm telling you that I eloped with
my new boyfriend. I found real passion and he is so nice, with all his
piercings and tattoos and his big motorcycle. But it's not only that-Dad,
I'm pregnant and Ahmed said that we will be very happy in his trailer in the
woods. He wants to have many more children with me and that's one of my
dreams.

I've learned that marijuana doesn't hurt anyone! And we'll be growing it for
us and his friends, who are providing us with all the cocaine and ecstasies
we may want. In the meantime, we'll pray for the science to find the AIDS
cure and for Ahmed to get better, he deserves it.

Don't worry Dad, -- I'm 15 years old now and I know how to take care of
myself. And someday I'll visit . . . so you can get to know your
grandchildren.

Your daughter,

Judith

PS: Dad, it's not true. I'm at the neighbor's house - - - I just wanted to
show you that there are worse things in life than the school's report card
that's in my desk's top drawer . . . I love you!

Dear Judith,

Your joke letter was very funny but unfortunately, I was not able to tell mom in time and she cancelled delivery on the BMW we were planning to suprise you with for your 16th birthday......oopsie. I'm sure you understand, there are worse things in life afterall.

I guess you will have to settle for driving mom's hand-me-down old beater for now. It's served her well all these years and will be fine for you as long as you kept your promise to maintain a B or better average. I'm sure you kept your part of the bargain and I feel bad for reminding you but if that report card is a disappointment, this will be the last visit to your little friend Sara's house for some time and we will be enrolling you in the Sisters of No Visitation All Girls Academy next week.

Daddy

In 1991, I pulled that same joke on my parents! It was hilarious, well my parents didnt think it was hilarious but to this day I remind them of this joke. They used to be uptight but now we can all laugh at the good ol times. I miss them
