Nice picture. That is why I never leave my young puppies outside by themselves until they are obviously much bigger than a rabbit.

Hey Labman, my FIL loses puppies a lot to blacksnakes in the bush. Problem is, if you kill the blacksnakes the brown snakes move in, and they are worse.

If the snow gets deep enough the neighbors cat usually will catch a rabit in our yard. It then takes the rabbit into the kids play fort and makes a real mess.

Nice pic, we have young great horned owl mounted and its talons are no joke... You can be sure the rabbit didn't suffer too long.
