It looks like they're discontinuing that one. Taking the number to the Fram site, then checking the cross-references brought up by the 2 Fram equivalents (PH3593A is the 4" version & PH5046 is 5" long), you'll find a number of filters that'll work.

Motorcraft and Bosch don't , but you can use an L-20073 on most cars without any leaks.

I have used the L-20073 on Hondas that normally use the L-14459 or L-24458 without any problems or leaks.

My local Honda dealer doesn't carry 15400-PCX-004 filter for S2000, they only have smaller filter for all Honda cars. I'll check L-20073 specs, is it longer than L-14459 ?

Some crazy guy (wait! that's me

) put a different oil filter stud on my car (which used to take an M20x1.5 threaded filter like the L14459) that had metric threads on one side, and standard threads on the other (3/4x16). This allows me to run the Motorcraft FL-400S (or any other 3/4x16 threaded filter that fits) on my Subaru. The part is Mopar part# 3300-4125 (around $8). You can follow the whole thread here

Yes, longer than the L-14459, but the gasket is wider
