I am buying a Glock 27 Subcompact .40 cal for CC. Once my LTCF is approved. . . After the glock, I NEED to get a Sig 226 for the collection. One of the best semi auto pistols made!

Heres the safe.(all messy I know!!)

I have a .38 revolver that is around the turn of the century. I had some guy that was supposed to be a gun expert tell me it was worth about $100 because the bore was corroded.

It looked like it was corroded, until I cleaned it with a nylon brush and WD-40. It cleaned up and I could see no corrosion after cleaning it. The gun looks closer to the first picture, I am sure it's smaller.......

I will not be mugging you anytime soon.........

WoW, you went from asking for opinions on what first sidearm to get to owning 7 in just a few months!! TE SALUTE!!

Yea, I was more asking about a Carry sidearm then.

But, yes. I have been busy!

We call him MISTER Webley! He's a very old friend of the family. On the far side of 100 years old. Converted to fire .45 ACP (or Auto Rim) during WWII by an American soldier and used as a backup. Good natural pointer. Reliable as gravity. Hopelessly inaccurate beyond 50 yards due to useless sights. The bad guy can SEE he's loaded with Hydra-Shoks. Economical: Only one shot necessary.

Ive posted these before, I think, but here they are again.

Bushmaster XM15-E2S, my latest acquisition, with my first, the HK USP 9mm.

Mosin-Nagant, 7.62x54r, 1942, Izhevsk manufacture.
This one I didnt plan on buying, but a friend offered it to me for $80 with a nice cleaning kit and all the widgets, I had to have it. :p

Colt 1908 Pocket Hammerless, .380ACP, Type IV, 1933
Not actually mine, but it is my grandfather's and has an interesting story. It was stolen about 7 years ago, and Las Vegas Metro recovered it a year ago from the dashboard of some junkie they pulled over. Unfortunately somewhere in the mess, it lost its original magazine. But I was able to locate reproduction magazines and gave them to him for Christmas.

In this (old) picture:

Revelation 20 gauge bolt-action shotgun
Westernfield .22 lever action rifle
H&R .410 single shot shotgun
Glock 19 (daily carry)

Only one I got around, rest are back at my mom's place (very slow process of moving out). This is my latest acquisition:

Notice the box beneath it, the old socialists are gonna need a bunch of those when they find out I can go hunting with this!

Did I mention I have it setup for southpaw friendliness?

Not to get political.....but does this have anything to do with talk of anti-gun laws?

Maybe I should keep some .38 bullets just in case I need to use my "collector gun"........

I'm primarily a Colt collector, I have a safe full of them, but I do have some others. Here are a couple pics of a small fraction of my collection I've posted elsewhere:

Blokey,

Nice collection - I'm very impressed! I'm also curious; if you counted all your guns, how much $$$ would you say you've got invested at this time? How much do you think you could sell the entire lot for?

Agreed.

On a related funny note, I explained to my girlfriend's mom how the Heimmler Reich (sp?) came about to confiscating all the guns - central storage and registration. After story time, her response was "Well, I still think it's a good idea."

Pardon the aweful pics, cell phone, and a (previously) incompetent camera user.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm having trouble with the phone line at home and I couldn't get online (I'm replying from work).

Thanks, I have a bunch of nice Colts: all the snakes (including a Boa and Viper), Gold Cups of every factory caliber, etc. At last count I think I was at 80 guns total so I guess if I were to sell them (and I were to get a buyer), I could send my kid to a private university full time for a year. How much have I spent? Geez, I don't even want to know! This addiction of mine started in '91 when I was sworn in as a US citizen, 3 days after Desert Storm started - on the way home I bought a Colt Delta Elite 10 mm (that I still have of course) and the rest is history...

newest toy. I want the companion rifle, but the wife has said no so far.
