Chevron Supreme 5W-30 Synthetic Blend Motor oil

I was in a food store near my house today and saw they are selling this oil in quarts for 2.50 each..had about 12 left..should I hop on this deal?? I was not able to find a uoa on this oil...thanks

I'm using the Chevron Supreme conventional 10-30 in the Silverado 5.3L. I get it for $7.99 per 5 quart jug at Tractor Supply. Excellent oil. I would pick it up for that no doubt. Chevron makes an excellent lube.

If the car is a GM and still under warranty, I'd probably pass it by. I wouldn't doubt that it is good oil, but it is not on the GM 6094M list.

Oops! He said the old SL Blend didnt he
Chevron Supreme and Synthetic SM is on the GM approved list but not the old SL rated blend.

actually grampsinthesnd, I do not see the synthetic BLEND on the GM list...thanks for your input though..

The Havoline Semi-Syn is a very smooth running oil.
