Pirelli Scorpion STR (European version)

I'm wondering if anybody else has these tires. I initially bought them because they were the best spec'd tire I could find on the market, with a 112H rating (treadwear: 500, traction: A, temperature: A). So far, I've put 41,000 km (26,000 miles) on them with a rotation (cross one time, back to front the next) every 10,000 km (6,250 miles). Tire pressures were initially 39 PSI, which I later increased to 43 PSI. They have cost me a bundle ($500 for a set of 4), but I'm very pleased with them to say the least:

Edit: I meant to say best spec'd tire within my budget. Comparable Michelin tires were costing in excess of $750 for a set of 4.

That price is about the same as you'd pay in the US. That same tire is made in the Pirelli N.A. facility in Rome, Georgia.

That's interesting actually. Seems they're made in multiple facilities, depending on market. My set are made in Romania, and I've seen a couple others made in Turkey.
