I want to put a different desktop background on each of my two monitors. When I select a background image, it automatically goes to both screens. I have Windows XP Version 2002 service pack 2. I suspect it cannot be done, but figured might as well ask.

You can also make a wallpaper that has two photos attached together, and then set that as your background. You'll effectively get two photos, one on each monitor.

So if you've got two 1600x1024 displays, photoshop the two 1600x1024 images together to get one 3200x1024 image and use that.

The doubled up photo probably won't work as my resolutions are 1024x768 on a 24" monitor and 800x600 on a 17".

The webtab thing worked IntegraVT. Looks pretty good. Photo I chose is not as wide so there is a strip along the edge, which is fine. Neat the way desktop items will sit on top of this web image. I selected a photo out of my own folder.

I see that the photo works best if sized the same as the screen, else it will stretch out.

Thanks
