I have been looking, but they all talk about ATX, or if they talk about a AT, they say there is supposed to be a white wire on the No.8 bundle, but I have no such wire. I just want to know how to get the PSU to power on with the stock switch.

On an AT power supply there is usually 2 pairs of wires that are switched (4 wires in total). White/Black is the most common colours I have seen.

You can use an ATX power supply on the bench for testing by connecting 2 pins located in the center of the ATX block connector that usually connects to the motherboard. Forget which numbers, but I use a metal paperclip cut to size to jump these two pins and it makes the power supply come on.
