check your pcv valve and the lines going to/from it. my car actually just had a clogged pcv line, and it was doing the exact same thing. in fact, the dipstick kept popping out and showering the engine compartment with oil
one of the pcv lines was frozen solid with ice, so i took it apart, cleaned it, put it back together... problem solved
