Basically just a rant.. but why o why do the manufacturers INSIST on this bigger is better thing with respect to wheels/tires on low end cars?!? Case in point; The stock Continentals are well worn on my 2007 Cobalt at a measly 25Kmi. They are pretty bad in the snow at this point. Stock size is 195/60R15. I call my guy at the local Cooper tire shop I've been going to for years. The least expensive Cooper he's got in this size is the CS4 Touring H/V at $102/ea. Almost $450 out the door for new skins on a bottom of the barrel Cobalt for crying out loud... and mid-range tires at that! (I didn't get'em yet)
