I came across a few gallon jugs of Rotella 5-40 CI-4 Plus that I bought for my bikes. How do I decipher the code on the back to see when they were made?

It's not always the case, but you can usually see some Julian calender reference there. Why not post what you see so we can attempt to decipher it with you??

For example, my LOWTOX antifreeze read 3F 6167 23:59

I'd read that as June 16, 2007 @ 11:59pm as the most likely date. In 2010 it might read 61610 or 6160

OK--I will tomorrow. I will write it down tonight at home and post it. Thanx----

Johnny:
Here are the numbers on the bottom of the bottle. They were very faint, but I"m pretty sure they are accurate.

Do you have acronyms for any Canadian Shell plants Johnny?

I am trying to decipher products in a major national Canadian retailer (Canadian Tire) that is said to have all of its store brand product line made by shell.
