Castrol 0w-30 Smell

Only a someone who visits this site would notice this, I just did my oil change and filled up with the German elixer and noticed is had a strong "sulfer" smell (batch M08). The previous oil change I did with a batch from M06 which has a sweat pleasent smell (still not as good as the green stuff).

Any idea what additive change Castrol has done to change the smell?

FWIW, I have M06 and M07 on hand and they smell identical... Curious to see if others observe a change in M08.

I assume all of yours had unbroken seals?

Yep, unbroken seals on all 5 quarts and they all had the same smell.

Ah-h-h-h good friends, not to worry...no witches or undue amounts of sulfur are in the brew...I'm afraid the little guys had a few burritos before they bottled some of the 08 batches (German elves don't handle Mexican food well) and...well...let's just say there were a few digestive indiscretions in the bottling room and some of the...u-m-m-m...the um-m-m-m-m...vapors may have made it into a few of the bottles....I'm So embarassed...
