This program is a steaming pile of dog poo.
Installing took 15 minutes,updating is taking forever.
And when i hit update it disappeared from the taskbar leaving me wondering if it was still protecting my computer.

Vista 64 bit version

Thats funny as it took a total of approx. 5 minutes to install & update & found 3 items in My computer deemed unsafe.The scanning took approx 15 minutes like any normal scan takes to scan files.

Uninstall locked up my computer 30 minutes +.
Couldn't uninstall because the update didn't complete.
Finally got it out and re-installed avast av and all is well again.

I agree, this is a steaming pile of poo.

I tried it, thinking it had controls over times the kids could use the computer. No such luck.

For anyone who downloaded this and installed it using the key, you better check to see if it's now expired. The ISP got wise and closed off the link. I suspect Trend Micro canceled the license used, as mine was listed as expired.

I was planning to remove it anyway, and have re-installed Avira AV as I think it's a better solution and really free.

Word to the wise.

Sorry guys as mine expired too as I called the company & the key was leaked out & is what the company did not want.
