Blackstone's universal average for iron in that engine is 19, while copper is 26(!)
 
Any previous reports on this motor? I'm sending in my 4th sample for my speed 3 and curious about how other 2.3 DISI motors are wearing.

Fe is higher than I would like, but it is a trait of M1. I'd like to know what kind of Fe wear it is and whether it's chemical or adhesive. A ferrography test would help but that is expensive. Have you thought of trying Amsoil/PP?

It's not that it's ok, but it can't be a BAD oil based on the industry spec's it passes.
 
Yea! Copper finally seems to have leveled off.

I bet RLI Biosyn would lower your Fe levels considerably by containing the impact of DI fuel dilution.

Or PP, or Amsoil, or... And this is assuming he's experiencing fuel dilution (don't fret, I'll leave it totally open for you to tout all your usual RLI/Dyson stuff).
