Oil Schaeffer S9000 CJ4 (505.01) - VOA and @ 1316 miles

Fe Iron ------------------- 1 --- 4
Cu ------------------------ 0 --- 2
Pb ------------------------ 0 --- 1
Si Silicone ------------ 10 --- 13
Na Sodium ------------- 5 ---- 9
Mo Molybdenum - 320 ------ 316
Sb Antimony -------- 37 ---- 37
Mg Magnesium ---- 944 ----- 711 - looks like a bit was filtered out but any particles that large are unwanted anyway.
Ca Calcium -------- 1254 ---- 1249
P Phosphorus ---- 1110 ----- 1066
Zn Zinc -------------- 1184 --- 1238
Viscosity 100C --- 15.7 ------ 14.4 - thats better
TBN -------------- 9.08 --------- 8.30
PQ -------------- N/A ------------ 7

With a count of 4 Fe and one was in the new oil and I am sure 1 was inherited from block a count of 2 ppm Fe in 1316 miles is impressive.

The lead was getting higher and by the third OCI of VW LL III it was 6 ppm Pb. So the 2 ppm Pb does not surprise me.

With a PQ of 7 we can see that the Diesel Geek Amsoil bypass system is working well.

Yes there are many interested in this oils performance. As you know this a notorious PD and requires oil that many feel we are just not capable of making in this backward country. :):).

I have members at TDI club who are concerned the by-pass filter will have negative effects on viscosity. So I will do a 5k UOA and show that all is well. I will UOA at 7 to 8k to show that its performance will be as good or better than VAG oils.
