I looked it up for you on Simple Greens website. Wow I had no idea they have 43 different cleaning chemicals listed. From what I can see on the msds the automotive cleaner, which from the looks of it is listed as MAX and automotive, is just about the same. I'm not a chemist, just a College student so don't quote me. The only "really hazardous" chemical listed is Butoxyethanol, but that is listed for the all purpose cleaner, Max Automotive cleaner, and precision parts & engine cleaner. ( I guess someone found that the original stuff wasn't "precision" enough for them). I'd call them if you have any questions.
