Here is my UOA on my '06 Hummer H3 with 15,808 miles on it. The engine is an I5 3.5L the same as in Chevy Colorado's in '06. This oil has 4730 miles on 5w30 dealer bulk oil and an AC Delco Filter. I am currently running Mobil 1 EP 5w30 with an AC Delco filter. The oil in this analysis showed 50% left on the GM OLM.
The vehicle runs great and burns no oil. The vehicle gets approx. 15 MPG hwy. and seems to run better now than when new (better acceleration, etc.) This could also be due to putting in a K&N air cleaner. What do the experts on this site think? I switched to the M1 to extend drain intervals, although I may go 5000 on the M1 and get it analyzed to see the performance of that oil.
I am a little concerned about the elevated aluminum, iron and nickel readings though.
