How come when I send certain web links to people, they are not always "clickable" so it takes you right to them? You have to copy/paste it into the address bar.

Probably a difference between sending ascii text e-mail source and html based e-mail; probably highly dependent on the client reader the recipient is using too.

HTML e-mail is a nightmare from an anti-spam perspective.

Make sure when you are done with the link you start another line.

I've found if you have the link not by itself and send the email without pressing enter and starting another line, the link gets messed up.

Microsoft has a parser that looks for the http://blahblahblah.com. If you type it into, say, Word, it'll turn blue and underlined-- a pain if you're actually typing something for printing. You'll note this forum software has a similar parser.

To keep screwups down and these parsers properly trained, don't punctuate websites like I did above and be sure to include the http://www. as well as the actual domain and .com/net etc.

Outlook express calls html "rich text" or somesuch, if you can set font size you're composing in html. But a recipient email program may yet "enhance" your plain text and make links.
