Help Design My Ryder Truck Fuel Power Test

HI Guys,
Driving cross country next in a Ryder truck, that will also be towing my car on a trailer. I wanted some help in coming up with test to measure any MPG benefits with my FP+. Starting in NY, stopping in Cleveland, Chicago, KC, and arriving in Colorado.

My first thought was to do half the trip with no FP, as a baseline. 2nd half of the trip with FP. Although, I think it will be faster driving and less traffic as I get further west so I'm not sure how definitive this will be. Thanks!

I think it will be difficult given that geography changes as you get further west. Traffic is a big factor too. The further west you get, the more traffic thins out...in a very significant way.

I'm guessing the second half of the trip will have better fuel economy regardless of additives.
