ROTFL! Sorry that is just too funny. If that tire is anything it is not "performance" because it doesn't really PERFORM neither in winter, nor in summer.

It performs better on dry roads in winter than other winter tires that become too mushy.

Yeah maybe they perform better in those situations but that absolutely doesn't make them "performance" whatever that is, no more than any other all season tire. The whole performance winter tire shtick is a huge scam anyway. Those tires are neither good for snow which is their intended purpose, nor they that much better on dry. So what's the point then? Who needs performance in winter? I'd rather have mushy tires but don't get stuck in snow. I've seen many tests and reviews where those tires failed miserably when they were put under snow condition test. Pftt!

Besides tires don't become mushy in winter when it's cold. IDK I drove a lot in plus temperatures on my winter Nokians and they are fine. My tire dealer said he traveled back and forth to Arizona on them and they were fine too. Maybe some cheaper winter tires become extremly mushy but not my tires. I never had any mushiness problems on dry pavement, cold or warm.
