Toshiba Tekbright 910P 19 in monitor

It's been clicking alot lately with the screen going in and out. is there a cheap fix? or should I pick up a used one? I read this could be a fire hazard in the making??

The Toshiba's end is near. Pick up a 22" flatpanel they are cheap and you'll love the screen size.

Sounds like it might be struggling with the refresh rate. Try adjusting it back to a lower figure. If you are at 85 mhz, lowering it to 75 or 72mhz. 85mhz is too high for some CRT monitors. Max resolution is 1600x1200. Are you trying to drive it higher than that?

I degauss the monitor, no effect. I changed the screen resolution to 800 by 600 and went to 16 bit color settings. my monitor doesn't click anymore for the past hour. but the text on the screen is pretty big. I guess I'll get used to it.
