Are you talking about the original NXT or the new NXT 2.0? I've found the original version only lasted 2-3 weeks, but version 2.0 lasts way longer than that! Even in harsh wintertime driving, with tons of road salt battering my paint, a single coat of NXT 2.0 kept my finish feeling nice and slippery even after two solid months!
I was referring to the latest version. I have been dissappointed in Meguire's for the past several years with their latest offerings and the crazy ad hype like hydrophopic or whatever they call it. Their original products like #26 yellow wax and the #7 glaze are still top notch products, however. I have been using Griot's garage products for the past 5 years and have been happy as heck. But, I figured I'd give the NXT2.0 a try since it is available everywhere whereas I have to mail order the Groits. Well, let's just say that the Griots Best of Show wax that was on my vehicle for 4 months was still shiny and had a deep gloss. As soon as I used the Meguire's NXT2.0 - the truck lost the clarity and the shine was not as deep. Worse yet, after just 2 car washes I noticed it was wearing away. And yes, I even use the detailer spray after all washings. Meguire's DOES make a good detailer spray and that's all I use by them.
Now Patman - your Corvette always looks good, I just think that we can get better results from other waxes and my opinion is supported by many detailing websites. But, for ease of use, this NXT does win hands down. My Griot's wax is a bit hard to remove - maybe that's why it lasts so long. I even think that the Meguire'sGold Class lasted longer and was glossier than NXT.
