Worst case scenerio,Iran closes gulf oil supply

What are alternatives to mix with the $8 gallon gas we will have if Iran starts sinking tankers?

I was thinking of going E50 on my vehicles by mixing myself with E10.Haven't found a place to buy drums of ethanol yet though in my area.Was thinking of building a still but it may be very labor and resource intensive.

I think the distilled ethanol will have too much water in it, some chemical method would have to be used to "dry" the ethanol. Probably expensive to buy anhydrous (dry) denatured ethanol and more so to get it as not denatured.
