We have a handful of HD-DVD's that we have never used, but with this player, we'll finally be able to see them. Great price too! I plan on buying one of these rather than a dedicated Blu-Ray unit and just pipe the A/V out to the stereo & TV. Keeps the number of components to a minimum.
