Does the boiling point of E10 tend to be lower than gasoline? My collector car has been having some vapor locking issues, and when it acts up I can take the cleanout cover off the fuel pump and hear the fuel boiling from the heat the pump has absorbed from the engine block. I'm wondering if it's more prone as of late because it's got ethanol in it, since it was never this bad before.

Ethanol — Boiling Point: 78.4 °C

Gasoline varies a lot. 100-400°F

Amazing how many hits are on that in Google.

So a blend may actually raise the boiling point on one hand or lower for some cogeners.
