Looking for a car with firm seats

I think the foam in your average seat degrades over time and gets mushy. Also there are springs underneath that could lose firmness over time.

If these seats are for the saturn try looking for used low mile ones out of an SC2, the sportiest car. Has real stiff side bolsters and the foam may be tougher.

Ditto for the car it replaced - our acura integra - my wife thougt they were uncomfortable, but I thought they were great for long trips... so Id assume acura would be a good place to look too.

I liked the Integra seats too, I don't see how anyone could think they were uncomfortable. Great side support, and I was never uncomfortable even on 12 hour trips.

My 2005 Jetta Wagon too. They feel OK when you try them, nothing special but after an 800 mile day, when you get out of the car with no discomfort, you realize just how good they are.

My wife's 06 Acura TL and my 06 Corvette both have good long trip seats, but not as good as the VW's.
