I pulled an early sample this time to look for antifreeze/water. I'm worried about a possible small coolant leak. Potassium still seems a little high in this sample.

I saw your post on TDR. Did the oil test positive for coolant? Try pming wwilson on here and see if he is any help. I remember he had some problems with his 04 with coolant in the oil a while back.

I do not believe you have a coolant leak. I think you are in great shape. 14k may be a bit high for a OCI and that is what you are seeing. Stick to one oil do not flip flop from oil to oil. Cu is a bit high but I am seeing other engines jump in Cu using S9000. This may be in the oil and a VOA will show it. You also could use a lab that covers Antimony, and as well soot level. Insolubles and soot are not quite the same.

I had Terry run a sample at 10k (between the 2 reports I list above). It has Antimony, KF, soot, and glycol...

Did you add a oil cooler - I do not know allot about that engine - what does Terry think about your Cu. Don't often see Silver counts. But other than the Cu of probably 12, it sure looks good to me.
