Ok well I did the complete brake job successfully. Now it's time to tackle the spark plugs. I see from my Haines Manual that I need to remove the upper intake manifold and maybe even the throttle body. Has anyone done this on this engine? What are the pitfalls and things to watch out for? I assume I'll need a new intake gasket ( should I use sealer?)and I have the correct factory plugs. There is also a water transfer rubber hose under the cover that I should replace as well while I am in there. Any other advice? Also I can't find the torque specs for the intake manifold.

Any advice would be very much appreciated...

Spoke with the dealer wrench today and he says they never remove the TB or IM just the pvc bracket on one side and the throttle cable bracket on the other side and there is enough clearance to get the back side of the engine. Hope he is right and not pulling my chain.

All done! The dealer was correct. Did remove the TB and clean completely. Runs like new! If anyone wants the procedure on this DIY please PM me.
