Need help with bookmarks....TOO MANY!!

I have a bazillion bookmarks that I want to arrange in about 5-6 distinct categories each with a mess of subcategories.

I use Firefox and the bookmarks toolbar. It's running way full over and the only way to organize them is alphabetically. OTOH I find the regular bookmarks method clunky and stupid.

Something fast and arrangeable would be nice.

Help - is there a better add-on?

I just use the firefox "organize bookmarks" selection off of the bookmarks menu to make subfolders and sort them manually...

Thanks - call me lamo - I just now figured out I can have folders within the Bookmarks toolbar. Just make 6 folders and sort into the folders.
