Can anyone out there tell me if it is wise for me to switch to Wal Mart Super Tech Full Synthetic Oil. The Service Tech here in Asheboro, NC told me the Super Tech Synthetic was made by Exxon Mobil.
I have a 1998 Ford Ranger (4 cylinder)5 speed manual, with 122,456 miles, and does not use any oil between 5000 mile oil changes.
On Dec 8, 2005 my wife and I bought a new 2006 Toyota Camry LE (4 Cylinder) it now has 39,671 miles. Would it be alright to switch to Super Tech Full Synthetic at my next scheduled maintance at 42,006 miles?
I have done extensive research and reading on Synthetic versus conventional oil and all reports lead me to believe synthetic are much better for my car and pick up.
Please convince my why I should switch to synthetic.
