I recently bought an aerator for my lawn & garden biz. The manufacturer specifically recommends this grease:

3750-3752 ALMAGARD® Vari-Purpose Lubricant

I was surprised that I didn't find this on BITOG doing a search.

Any input?

I will use Mobil 1 red grease for now.

So if the manufacuer Plugr.com recomends 3752 that would equate to a NLG1 grease grade #2?

Long story short this machine uses a cam shaft drive and really need to be greased daily. A thicker grease would be better than thinner. From what I can tell.

That is correct. NGLI #2.

If you want to try a tube or two of this product without having to purchase a whole case of it, let me know and I will PM you a website to purchase from. This particular brand is expensive grease..

Johnny,

Go ahead and PM me the contact info.

Long story short for their aerator it would be best to have a fairly tacky grease that would help cling to the surface of the cam rollers mechanism. You can go to http://www.plugr.com to see the short video of the product. There is brief part of the video that shows the unit running with out the cover on. There is tendency for the grease to get slung around so a fairly tacky grease would be better.

I'm open to other cost effective options.

Thanks for the help,

Glen
