Techron/Regane/V-Power in 2-cycle gas/oil mix?

Considering the issues that many 2 cycle tools have with carburetors, it seems that something like Techron/Regane/V-power would be good for keeping them clean.

Would adding something like that to your 2-cycle gasoline/oil mixture (before or after adding the oil) have any ill effects on the rest of the engine?

1/2 oz per gallon max. Pour it in the same time you pour in your 2-cycle oil. Add gas and mix well. I do this with the REGANE.

So it won't somehow interfere or dilute the 2-cycle oil, then? That's mostly what I'm concerned with.

It has not on mine that I can tell. Been doing it for about 10 years now. But remember, more is not better. 1/2 oz per gallon max. You could use 1/4 oz per gallon.

I also mix all my 2-cycle oil at 40:1

Great! I'll do it- I'll probably put a 1/2 oz in, just because I think I have a spare Tblsp measuring spoon that I can swipe from the wife.
