Schaeffers Ci4+ 15-40. 4 oz of neutra the last 250 miles. 1 quart add and one pint moly ep 132 about half way thru. Looking better. Next fill is with Schaeffers 9000 cj oil. Done with the purge. 118,400 on engine

1st col 4k on unknown oil.
2nd column 6.2 with ci 15-40

Also this was a 2 1/2 month run in the dead of winter. Lots of idling, plenty of cold starts, and about 1k of heavy towing.
 
Looks like things are trending in the right direction. Next sample will be very interesting.

Nice addative levels, higher than anything I've seen, but the wear is still out of control although dropping. Fe, Al, and pb are still pretty high. I still want to know what this guy hauls or why this engine is wearing so poorly. Look at that moly number from the addative. Salesrep, do you condone this guy on the addatives?

What do you mean.

Keep in mind the 1st drain had quite a bit of neutra for a purge (also the sample was almost forgotten and taken at the very end of the drain) and the 2nd drain had a "late" neutra. I think that neutra is doing its job as well as distorting the wear metals. I am optmistic that the next drain at 10k with the cj9000 will be excellent. We'll see in 2-3 months.
